About the Workshop

Join us for an exclusive in-person workshop in Wellington, as we get hands on with our latest dbt Cloud features: dbt Semantic Layer, dbt Mesh, and dbt Explorer.

This is dbt Cloud functionality specifically designed to help you tackle the complexities of growing organizational data. As ecosystems expand, data teams face increasing challenges in maintaining project visibility and ensuring data quality at greater scale.

The main highlights will discuss how dbt Mesh opens the opportunity for a managble distributed architecture, enabling seamless collaboration across multiple dbt projects. Followed by new Semantic Layer features providing downstream lineage, allowing for transparent and standardized metrics querying from your source to BI layer pipelines.

For this workshop, you will:

• dbt Mesh: Learn to configure dbt Cloud and dbt Projects for cross-project referencing, setting you on your path to leveraging dbt Mesh.
• dbt Semantic Layer: Understand how to query standardized metrics using the dbt Semantic Layer for robust and consistent data insights. Please note this workshop is best suited for participants who have prior knowledge of dbt.
